For three consecutive years, he took the posts as deputy director of the Steering Committee of Foreign Language Teaching in Higher Learning Institutions under the administration of the Ministry of Education and chairman of the French Language Group, and vice chairman of China Research Institute of Foreign Language Teaching, and was awarded the L'ordre des Palmes académiques for three times. He was honored as the guest professor or Ph.D. advisor by universities like Université Paris Diderot-Paris 7, Université Rennes 2, Université de Nantes, Université d'Angers, Université de Bretagne Occidentale, and Université de Toulon.
